Can someone remind me if Amazon downloads count towards UK charts...?

They have bodies for 29p apparently, so some fans are downloading a few copies...

I would imagine so, I just remember them having one of the TT albums to download for aout £4 or something and people were buying it not realising it didn't count towards the charts.

Surely you would think that actual CD's would count but I might be wrong

I have a feeling jaidi knows the answer to which places downloads count and which don't, because she's told me it about 3 times before. Unfortunately, she now needs to tell me it again, because instead of a brain I have a sieve inside my head.

Now that you mention it, I seem to remember it was Jaidi who pointed out before about them not counting

Answer: The Official Charts Company say in their terms and conditions that a digital download worth less than 40p does not count towards the chart.
